Ladybug release party in the garden this evening!
We let 1500 of these bad boys loose tonight. You should always release ladybugs at dusk; they won’t fly at night. Ladybugs eat aphids, spider mites, thrips, and other pests. They won’t move on until they’ve cleaned house and run out of food. During their stay, they’ll also lay eggs, and in about 3 weeks the next generation of natural pest control will hatch. Who knew that organic gardening would be so interesting?!?
