Joyful Girl
So, here’s the really cute template we used for the kids’ invites. We printed them out (the real ones have the deets already on them) and pasted them to 5.5”x7.5” black card stock.
I was running a sweatshop tonight! We got the official invites done, tested the mister, and we made these “spider webs” for the food table. Once these dry, we’ll peel them off the wax paper and place them under some of the dishes at the party.
Testing out the “misting cauldron” that we’ll be using on the food table for the kids’ party. Pretty cool, if I do say so myself!
I bought 9 pounds of candy yesterday…
Yep, that’s right; NINE POUNDS of candy. Not that cheap stuff either, I bought the good stuff; Reese’s, Kit-kat, Laffy Taffy, Twizzlers, Butterfinger, Snickers, and even the dreaded Pixie Stix! All for the kids’ big halloween party. Why? Because I recognize the social leverage that being “the house” in our neighborhood buys my children. That, and we run out every year, so this time, I’m ready!
